THE PINEAPPLE THIEF ANUNCIA GIRA POR ESPAÑA EN MARZO DE 2027

La banda británica de rock progresivo The Pineapple Thief visitará España en marzo de 2027 para ofrecer tres conciertos de más de dos horas de duración: el 12 de marzo en Apolo (Barcelona), el 13 de marzo en Teatro Eslava (Madrid) y el 17 de marzo en Santana 27 (Bilbao).

Estos conciertos formarán parte de la extensa gira europea y británica que The Pineapple Thief emprenderá en 2027 con motivo de la presentación de su próximo álbum, 'Far and Wide', que verá la luz el 9 de octubre de 2026. El nuevo trabajo supondrá el siguiente paso en la trayectoria de una banda que lleva más de dos décadas explorando las posibilidades del rock progresivo desde una perspectiva profundamente emocional y atmosférica.

La propia banda explica: “Estamos muy emocionados de volver a la carretera para esta extensa gira por Reino Unido y Europa en 2027. Tocar en directo está en el corazón de lo que hacemos y, mientras escribíamos y grabábamos 'Far and Wide', tuvimos constantemente en mente el escenario y la energía del público. Estamos deseando dar vida a estas nuevas canciones y compartirlas con todo el mundo en estos increíbles recintos”.

Liderados por el compositor, cantante y productor Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief llevan más de dos décadas construyendo un sonido propio en el que convergen el rock progresivo, la sensibilidad emocional y unas atmósferas de enorme profundidad. Una identidad musical que les ha permitido consolidarse como una de las formaciones más reconocidas de la escena progresiva contemporánea.

La incorporación del batería Gavin Harrison, conocido por su trabajo con Porcupine Tree y King Crimson, abrió una nueva etapa creativa para la banda, que desde entonces ha firmado algunos de sus trabajos más celebrados, como 'Your Wilderness', 'Dissolution', 'Versions of the Truth' e 'It Leads to This'.

Ahora, The Pineapple Thief continúan avanzando con 'Far and Wide', un nuevo álbum en el que vuelven a explorar los contrastes que han definido su trayectoria: la intimidad y la emoción de sus composiciones frente a un sonido expansivo, envolvente y lleno de matices. Más de veinte años después de su formación, The Pineapple Thief siguen siendo una banda en constante evolución, capaz de ampliar sus horizontes sin perder la esencia que les ha acompañado durante toda su carrera.

THE PINEAPPLE THIEF ANNOUNCE SPANISH TOUR DATES FOR MARCH 2027

British progressive rock band The Pineapple Thief will visit Spain in March 2027 for three concerts of more than two hours: March 12 at Apolo (Barcelona), March 13 at Teatro Eslava (Madrid) and March 17 at Santana 27 (Bilbao).

These shows will be part of The Pineapple Thief’s extensive UK and European tour in 2027 in support of their forthcoming album, 'Far and Wide', which will be released on October 9, 2026. The new record marks the next chapter in the career of a band that has spent more than two decades exploring the possibilities of progressive rock through a deeply emotional and atmospheric approach.

The band comment: “We are so excited to be hitting the road again for this extensive UK and European tour in 2027. Playing live is at the very heart of what we do, and when we were writing and recording 'Far and Wide', we constantly had the stage and the energy of the audience in mind. Led by songwriter, vocalist and producer Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief have spent more than two decades developing a distinctive sound where progressive rock, emotional songwriting and deeply atmospheric textures come together. This musical identity has established them as one of the most acclaimed bands in the contemporary progressive scene.
